Alexandra Chipurnoi is an ACE-certified personal trainer with more than two decades of experience helping clients build strength, resilience, and confidence at every stage of life. She is particularly dedicated to serving older adults, designing individualized programs that address the realities of aging while promoting independence and vitality. Drawing on her extensive background, she works with clients managing conditions such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic pain, using safe, evidence-based exercise strategies to enhance mobility and upper-body strength. Her professional experience includes training clients in private homes as well as at community-focused facilities such as the YMCA, Fitness Express, and Club 21.
In addition to her work in fitness, Ms. Chipurnoi actively contributes to her community. She has organized neighborhood walking initiatives that encourage accessible physical activity for people of all ages. Her volunteer efforts include supporting children and families through the Housatonic Child Care Center and assisting with Mindful Youth-Online, a platform created during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide mental health resources for adolescents. She also serves on the committee of Knock Out Abuse West, which advocates for women and children impacted by domestic violence, and contributes as an assistant producer for The Feminist Podcast.A longtime admirer of Italian culture, Ms. Chipurnoi appreciates fine wines, specialty coffees, and traditional cuisine—interests that complement her holistic perspective on balanced, enjoyable living.
